Situated at the national training centre of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the museum contains a multimedia theatre, historical and contemporary exhibits, and an outdoor exhibit area.
The mandates of this project were to create an iconic building representing the important history of the RCMP in the development of Canada, and to respond to the site location at the RCMP Academy within the prairie landscape.
The building serves as a repository of history and will act as an educational facility to all visitors and new trainees to the force.
